Santa Rosa, CA, Release: October 18, 2021. For Immediate release
Founded in 1963, the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County (Orange County LAFCO) strives to ensure the delivery of effective and efficient public services such as water, sewer, public safety, and parks by local governments to Orange County residents.
OC LAFCO’s website is a key source of information that informs agencies and the public of the Commission’s key projects and activities. The website houses numerous documents that must be accessible to the public, including meeting agendas, hearing notices, meeting minutes, staff reports, agency studies, and maps. Planeteria was hired to design and implement a new agency website. A key objective of the redesign was establishing a visually appealing and intuitive website that improved communication capabilities and incorporated a more user-friendly and easy-to-maintain platform. The redesign of the website also included the integration of three web-based programs: Shared Services, Fiscal Trends, and the recently developed interactive Municipal Services Dashboard. Additionally, OC LAFCO required the development of a new agency logo that is representative of the agency’s mission.
