Planeteria is proud to announce the launch of the redesigned North Bay Regional Center website, which went live on May 27, 2026. The new site gives individuals with developmental disabilities, families, service providers, and community partners a clearer, more accessible way to find services, resources, events, and support across Napa, Sonoma, and Solano counties.

About the Client

North Bay Regional Center is one of California’s 21 nonprofit regional centers serving people with developmental disabilities and their families. Guided by a mission to help individuals obtain the services and supports needed to live as others do, NBRC coordinates service planning, eligibility, early intervention, adult services, provider resources, and community-based supports. Its work is grounded in person-centered planning, independence, advocacy, and connection to local resources.

Project Goals

  • Create a more welcoming and intuitive website experience for clients, families, service providers, and community partners seeking timely information.
  • Improve navigation and content organization so visitors can quickly understand eligibility, services, intake, provider resources, events, and updates.
  • Strengthen accessibility, mobile usability, and technical performance to better support users with diverse needs, devices, and abilities.
  • Modernize the visual design to better reflect NBRC’s role as a trusted, compassionate, and community-centered regional resource.

Planeteria’s Solution

Planeteria redesigned and developed a modern WordPress website with a stronger visual hierarchy, clearer page structure, and flexible content tools for NBRC staff. The solution emphasized mobile responsiveness, ADA-conscious design, streamlined navigation, secure managed hosting, content migration, staff training, and post-launch support. The result is an easier-to-manage platform that can evolve as NBRC’s programs, resources, and community needs continue to grow.

Key Features & Functionality

  • Audience-focused navigation for clients, families, service providers, vendors, and community stakeholders.
  • Clear pathways to eligibility, intake, service coordination, adult services, early intervention, and Self-Determination Program resources.
  • Featured stories that highlight individuals served by NBRC and the impact of community-based support.
  • Events section for board meetings, advisory committee meetings, trainings, and public input opportunities.
  • Service provider resources, including vendor forms, billing information, training calendars, and RFP information.
  • Resource libraries connecting users to county services, mental health supports, forms, updates, and program materials.
  • Mobile-responsive page templates designed for easier browsing across phones, tablets, and desktop devices.
  • Accessible design practices supporting stronger readability, structure, color contrast, and content usability.

Project Highlights

A standout element of the project is the way the new site balances warmth with practical access to information. NBRC serves many audiences with very different needs, so the redesign focuses on clear journeys, simplified content, and visible entry points for common tasks. From client services and provider resources to news, events, and personal stories, the site now feels more organized, approachable, and aligned with NBRC’s mission.

Looking Ahead

With the redesigned website in place, North Bay Regional Center has a stronger digital foundation for serving individuals, families, providers, and partners. NBRC staff can manage content more efficiently, share timely updates, and continue expanding resources as programs evolve. Planeteria will continue supporting the site through managed hosting, maintenance, training, and technical guidance.
