OBJECTIVE

The EMPACS Group in Aurora, CO, has launched a new website, designed and developed by Planeteria Media. The organization selected Planeteria Media as its design and development partner to create an eCommerce solution for more than 430 sustainable products.

SOLUTION

The new website integrates with EMPACS accounting software for seamless transactions utilizing WordPress as the CMS. All old customers’ accounts were transferred to the new site so customers did not have to establish new accounts. EMPACS goal was to utilize the website as a sales tool to increase revenue from online orders.

SERVICES PROVIDED

Usability audit, stake holder surveys, wireframes, custom mobile responsive design, Web development: PHP / HTML5 / JavaScript, jQuery, Google analytics, responsive design, roles & permissions, ongoing maintenance, hosting. WordPress

ECOMMERCE

Using WooCommerce Planeteria was able to provide an eCommerce solution while building their customer database.

ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE

A key component of this project was connecting all website purchases to company accounting software.
