Santa Rosa, CA, Release: July 8, 2022. For Immediate release

BACKGROUND
Representing a committee of unified groups, Transplan organizes several transit networks which thread their way through some of the most stunning countrysides in the US. Antioch, Brentwood, Oakley, Pittsburg, and eastern Contra Costa County all possess unique features and needs among some of the most sought-after real estate in the country. In a region known for difficult traffic conditions and a high cost of living, the need for mass transit agencies to cooperate is more crucial than ever.

THE PROJECT
The demands of transit systems are never straightforward, and Transplan was no exception. Representing the transit interests of not only Antioch, Brentwood, Oakley, and Pittsburg, but eastern Contra Costa County, too, Transplan needed a site to handle the information from multiple agencies across multiple municipalities. A modern, flexible, but easily updated digital solution was required, and it fell into a sweet spot of Planeteria’s specialties: transit authorities and public-facing organizations.

THE SOLUTION
WordPress CMS, custom visual and user-interface design, multi-platform flexibility, API integration, and managed maintenance. While only active a few days out of every month, we deployed a site that remains vibrant and engaging all the other days, too.

FUNCTIONALITY
Live forms and docs, archives and announcements for meetings past and present, site administration, links, and contact info for the half-dozen constituent organizations and their members, as well as a showcase for projects past and future.
